3 Prong Outlet was a three piece pop punk band from Catonsville, Maryland. Pop punk more in the vein of Screeching Weasel and the Ramones, rather than your Blink-18FallOutBoys. Forming in the mid-90s with original drummer A.J. 3 Prong Outlet was led by Matt Pless on guitar and vocals and Steve on bass and backing vocals. In their existence they released 3 full lengths, one EP produced by SR-71 frontman Mitch Allan, and the legendary and rare first release, How the Grinch Stole My Virginity. They toured extensively throughout the United States and even got a chance to play Warped Tour. Some time after their last release, Now Or Never... Steve left the band leaving them bass less and in limbo. One replacement was made, but it just didn't work out. 3 Prong Outlet played their last show opening for the Queers at the Ottobar. Now Matt Pless has a lucrative solo career and has recently located to New York. Read more on Last.fm.
