Coretta Scott is a modern Indie / Post Hardcore band from Spokane, Washington.
It is also the maiden name of Mrs Martin Luther King.
Originally known as "The Widow Jenkins", the five-member band formed in 2004 and signed to Rise Records. The band claims to be a "mix of Mötley Crüe with the youth of The Used".
Their debut record, Scream and Shout, was released in August 2005.
