Банда из Orange County, Калифорния, вокалистом которой был небезызвестный Zack de la Rocha, в последствии фронтмен группы Rage Against the Machine. Относились к южнокалифорнийской youth crew сцене. Банда просуществовала совсем недолго - с 1988 по 1991, и успела при этом выпустить лишь одно 7" EP "No Spiritual Surrender" в 1990 году на Revelation Records. Уже был готов материал для второго релиза (который кстати планировалось назвать Rage Against the Machine, по названию одной из песен), но гитарист Вик ДиКара ушёл из группы, дабы стать монахом-кришнаитом... и присоединиться к банде Рэя Каппо, Shelter. Незадолго до ухода Вика, Inside Out успели отыграль лайв на калифорнийском радио KLXU. Так что существует лайв-сет (кстати говоря далеко не один) в весьма неплохом качестве. Естественно, банда имела бы огромное будущее, т.к. ЕР действительно заслуживает внимания и все релизы (и альбом, и лайв-сеты) буквально сметались фанатами со столов с мерчем.

There are five artists named Inside Out: two hardcore punk bands, an all-female power trio, an all-male a-capella group and a Dutch black gospel choir.
1) Inside Out was an early '90s straight edge hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. They released one EP, No Spiritual Surrender, in 1990. They played in and were respected by the same Southern California Youth Crew/straight edge scene as Infest and Chain Of Strength, and integrated old-school metal into their sound. They broke up in 1991 after their guitarist, Vic DiCara, left the band to become a Hare Krishna monk. Singer Zack de la Rocha (previously the guitarist for Hard Stance) left straight edge hardcore behind and went on to form the highly successful political rap-metal outfit Rage Against The Machine, who immediately signed with the major Epic.
2) Inside Out (NY) was a band from lower Westchester County in the late 1980's who released the Above All 7" on Noiseville Records. They also appear on the Sunday at the Anthrax DVD and played a reunion show in New York in 2010.
3) Inside Out (Detroit USA) are an all-female power trio who formed in 1985, and specialised in a brand of hardcore punk / grunge / psychedelia in the vein of female grunge bands such as Babes in Toyland and L7. They released a number of singles in the period 1990 - 93, along with 2 LPs. The singles were on Meantime Records, Icon Records and Anti-Music Records. The LPs were both released by Meantime Records. The band also recorded a Peel Session for Radio 1 DJ John Peel. They disbanded in 1995 but have recently re-formed and are gigging.

4) Inside Out is a Dutch black gospel choir formed in 2000. The choir is led by Clifton Grep and has a repertoire of contemporary black gospel songs. In 2003 Inside Out released their first album Let the praise begin. Followed by Stronger in 2005 and the live recorded album Alive in You in 2008.
Three vocals of Inside Out ended between the last four candidates of the Dutch tv-contest Idols in 2008. One of them, Nikki, won the contest.
