Jordan Nathaniel Marcel Knight (born May 17, 1970, in Worcester, Massachusetts) is best known as the lead singer & "heartthrob" of the supergroup New Kids on the Block. He is best known for his distinctive falsetto style of singing influenced by The Stylistics.
He released his eponymous solo album in 1999, which was certified Gold by the RIAA in 2000 for sales of over 500,000 copies in the US. The album included his only top-ten hit, Give It To You (which sold over 1 Million certified copies), which was nominated for a 1999 MTV Video Music Award for Best Dance Video. However, he didn't win, and when the award was sent out, the song slipped all the way down. The album Jordan Knight won an Aspire Music Award for Best Male Album (Pop). He became a father on August 25, 1999 to a son, Dante Jordan.
In 2005, Knight appeared on the British show "Hit Me Baby One More Time", where he performed Give It To You, as well as a cover of Let Me Love You by Mario.
