3) Columbus, Ohio, rock, Old 3C records. Chris Nini (keys), Paul Nini (gtr + vox), Shirley Tobias (bass + vox), Keith Dimoff (gtr), Greg Bonnell (drums). From their MySpace: (http://www.myspace.com/logthefirst) Shirley is a former WOSR DJ and contributor to the legendary Offense fanzine. Keith spends his time working to save the environment. Greg is an ultra-rock-machine, and once played in Naked Skinnies and an early version of American Music Club (both with Mark Eitzel) a very, very, very long time ago. He was also a member of lo-fi pioneers the Dave, and currently plays with our good pals and local stalwarts Moviola. Chris is a underpaid media manager, and also plays in long-running Columbus band Vena Cava. Paul writes the songs, and he also runs the Old 3C label and used to be in Househearts, Great Plains, and Peck of Snide.

4) Combining their wide array of musical inspirations, Log have delivered their debut album 10 Songs Of Log that in one corner draws on the influence of grind and metal while at the other extreme some roots and blues influences can be heard shining through. Add in a dash of sludgy doom rock and high energy rock n roll and the five piece have a unique combination of tracks that are delivered in a brutal, raw and abrasive fashion.
