Информация о артисте

HE IS THE BEST; WE LOVE HIM Hilbert founded a musical band called The Future with his brother, Kieran, and the drummer, Maik Buchwald, when he was twelve years’ old. Together with the saxophonist, Frank Bannöhr, they toured Germany under the management of Hilbert’s father, Erwin Hilbert, until Udo Lindenberg took the brothers into his Panikorchester and gave Erwin an administrative job. At the same time, Lukas and Kieran Hilbert founded the rock band Hauden & Lukas, and Lukas began writing songs with Lindenberg. He worked on the 1991 Lindenberg album Ich will Dich haben, which won a golden disc, before releasing two solo albums, which were less successful.

He achieved his first notable success as a lyricist when the single Du mußt ein Schwein sein performed by Die Prinzen reached the top ten in Germany in 1995. In 1996, he wrote the lyrics of Boomerang, which was sung by Blümchen.

In 1996, he founded a band Roh in Hamburg with Carsten Pape and Meik Dobbratz. Following an album in 1996 and another in 1998, the band released a more successful album Rohmantisch in 2000. Following a tour with Peter Maffay, the band split.

After writing some further songs, in 2003, he produced the Oli.P singles Neugeboren and Alles ändert sich, on which he also sang. Also in 2003, he wrote the lyrics for the Dieter Bohlen production of Für Dich sung by Yvonne Catterfeld, which reached number one in the German singles charts.

In December 2004, the single Was ich an Dir mag, on which Hilbert performed as a solo singer, reached number three in the German singles charts. He appeared as a member of the jury in the Popstars series on ProSieben, and produced the debut single Sweetest Poison of the band Nu Pagadi, which was formed from that series. The single reached number one in the German singles charts. He wrote lyrics for and produced the album Laut und Leise by Peter Maffay.

On 10 January 2005, Hilbert released a solo album with the title Der König bin ich. He competed for Bremen in the Bundesvision Song Contest with his single Kommt meine Liebe nicht bei dir an and was placed eleventh.

At the end of 2006, he wrote the song Erinner mich Dich zu vergessen, which reached the top 10 in Germany sung by Yvonne Catterfeld. On 3 November 2006, he released the single Ganze Welt on which he sung with Katerina Loules, also known as Tryna, who had been a candidate on Popstars. In December 2006, he sang In Dir ist immer noch ein Licht, which he had composed and wrote the lyrics of, with Peter Maffay, Udo Jürgens, José Carreras und Piero Masuchett as the opening song to José Carreras Gala 2006.

In 2008, Hilbert wrote the title track of Peter Maffay’s album Ewig. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
Peter Maffay (born 30 August 1949 in the Romanian town of Braşov, German: Kronstadt ; real name: Peter Alexander Makkay) is a German musician.

In 1963, Maffay and his parents emigrated from the Siebenbürgen region in Romania to Germany, like other Transylvanian Saxons. In the same year, he started his first band, The Dukes. After completing his education and spending some time working for Chemigraphics, an art manufacturer, Maffay worked in clubs, where he distributed his music.

Peter Maffay's career began in 1969 with the publication of his first single, "Du" (You in German). It was the biggest German hit in 1970 and brought Maffay instant fame. With the album Steppenwolf in 1979, Maffay became a major music star in Germany. The album sold 1.6 million copies, making it the best selling LP at that time. In 1980, the album Revanche (Revenge) broke his previous record, selling 2.1 million copies.

Maffay holds the German record for the most number one ranked singles in the single and album sales charts, including 12 albums. In addition, most of his studio albums reached the top ten. He also holds a German record for most albums to have sold over one million copies, with 14. His latest album ,Laut und Leise (Loud and Quiet), became the fourteenth.

Altogether, Maffay has sold over 35 million records. Since 1980, each of his 13 tours (roughly every 2 years) has ranked among the three most visited attractions each season in Germany, with nine of them ranked first in that category.

Maffay also created a string of fairy tales about a little green dragon named Tabaluga, which was spread out onto four albums. The piece was also turned into a musical. Maffay went on tour individually with Tabaluga & Lilli in Germany; he later released a live album, DVD and live TV broadcast. The tour included Peter Maffay, Alexis, Nino de Angelo, Rufus Beck, and Carl Carlton among others.

In 1998, Maffay collaborated to create an album with artists from all corners of the world, including Aboriginal singers and musicians from Israel.

He also starred in two films directed by Peter Patzak - The Joker in 1986, and Captured in Yemen in 1999. In addition, Maffay played a supporting role in the feature "The Polar Bear".
