Информация о артисте

Radio Pirate DJ's most recognizable line up started in early 2004 with Josh LaFave, Josh Augustine, Marcus VanKirk, and Drew Easton. This group of artists gained a ton of recognition right off the bat not only in Michigan but all over the United States.

Nearly two years after forming the act got on Warped Tour in Detroit. Shortly after, Josh Augustine left the band to try to pursue another path in music. Augustine was replaced by local superstar, Josh Goff. A few months had passed and Josh Augustine came back to the band to replace Josh Goff who had previously replaced him. Josh Goff went on to form the band, Atavan.

Shortly after the return of Augustine, Bryan Aldrich had joined the band to play none other than keyboard. The 5-some set out to record a full length CD in the summer of 2007 but ran into many bumps in the road. Bassists, Marcus VanKirk, had decided to leave the band to pursue his career with Chiodos side-project, Cinematic Sunrise. Marcus' spot was temporarily filled by Bryan Beeler (also of Cinematic Sunrise) and then later permanently replaced by guitarist Mike Reed, who's been in his share of local Michigan bands.

The band was close to finishing up their CD when drummer, Drew Easton, decided to leave the band to play drums for Forever In A Day. He was quickly replaced by Griff Powe. The new look of RPDJ was very different and more changes were set to come.

In February of 2008 Josh Augustine, Bryan Aldrich, and Griff Powe announced they were permanently leaving the band due to conflict of interest. The 3 started the band Lies Like Me and already have plans to tour in the spring and summer. They left behind front-man Josh LaFave and metal maniac Mike Reed to continue RPDJ.
