To Leave A Trace is one of the best ukrainian rock metal alternative bands, but they have there unique difference, a female vocals that goes from hard screaming to melodic singing.
The band released their new album «Fight Your Evil Side» in May 2009 and now they have a tour in Ukraine supporting it.
The band’s earlier discography: the first album «Follow this world/Beyond this world» recorded in 2004, demo EP Slid 2007, demo 2008.

“Slid” is really unique band.... For the first time I saw them on the Total Armageddon festival 2004, on the day when this band was head-liner of the concert. At first I didn’t want to believe my eyes and ears, because nu-metal-band was anounced, but a delicate and not very tall girl went up to the stage. However, when the first song was heard, it was clear that this band left behind them many performers of that festival.
The band seized the audience without loud and coloured special effects, - only with vokalist’s voice, bands musical skills and with deep and melodious lyrics....and more....with some impressive truth and frankness. My impression is, that Oksana is going through every word of her song on the stage, but still it was not a bit of “playing on crowd” in this, - this is her real life, like it is...

Our first album “Following This World/Outside This World” has double meaning. (In ukraianian it sounds in three words, ... play on words). The lyrics also run through with contrasts, - both sides of life, beautiful and damaged, and the way out of problems and sufferings are shown here. The meaning and presentation of songs gives positive spirit, make people think about this life, real friendship and love. This music is challenging to look deeper in heart and to look for God. It sounds powerfully, hard giutar riffs combined with melodious sets create musical contrasts, so typical for Slid’s creation.
