Italian DJ and producer Stefano Noferini is, for sure, a main protagonist in the international dance music scene: he’s played the world’s best clubs, hosts a radio show heard across the world, and has many house music hits under his belt – at least one of which you are likely to have gotten down to at some point last year as they are played by everyone from from Paul Van Dyk to Richie Hawtin, and from Carl Cox to David Guetta (who also charted it on his personal Beatport tracklist in December 2009).
He’s also the founder of Deeperfect Records, a label which has had success with the likes of “Till You Come Back” - finished with the powerful voice of Payton - and “I Don’t Want You Anymore” as well as with tracks like “Sex”, “Destination” and “Dollars”. Such success demonstrates his ear for a great record, something which has helped him when in the studio...
In recent months Stefano’s sounds have gone back to his roots and he’s re-discovering the tribal influences of his past. The stunning results are “Burundi” - a track which immediately sold well and hit the Top Ten of Beatport’s Main Chart and is a crossover house hit with groove which gets played by all the top international DJs, regardless of their genre. Many of his productions have been supported by and released on solid international labels like Cr2 who recently put out “Beautiful Life” (a track produced with Deborah French and Cozi Costi), and Stealth Records - Roger Sanchez’s much lauded label.
Stefano’s Club Edition radio show is broadcast in more than 15 countries around the world (www.clubedition.it) and showcases the finest electronic music. The Italian is also a much appreciated remixer and has added his magic touch to tracks from the likes of the legendary Masters At Works, Robbie Rivera, Bigfellas and many more … He’s also had hits with young and talented producer Matteo Marini as “House Music” - most recently their “Push N Pull” track is currently N°1 of Billboard Hot Dance Club beating out heavy weight major label artists such as David Guetta, Shakira, Pitbull, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce! and with his “Cool Summer” track released this year by Loud Bit Records which was N°1 on Beatport’s Main Chart and is one of the site’s best selling tracks of 2009.
Of course, Stefano is also an internationally recognised DJ and is always in demand, regularly playing the world’s best events to thousands of people such as at Tribal Gathering, Energy, May Day, Love Parade and Eurofestival. Stefano Noferini begins his artistic career in 1980 as one of the main contributors to the development of the nightlife in Florence, Italy. With his support, Florence becomes one of the focal points for the Italian and foreign music trends. After being identified as a pioneer of the electronic trend, Stefano Noferini gets closer to house music once again. Basically, the echo of historical phenomena. In the early 90’s Stefano Noferini was the resident DJ in real temples of house music, such as Titilla (Cocoricò’s privé room in Riccione) and Fitzcarraldo in Arezzo.
In the last two years, Stefano Noferini has played his tracks at Titilla, Echoes in Misano Adriatico, Peter Pan in Riccione, and even at Pacha, Amnesia and Space in Ibiza. It is not by chance that Stefano Noferini is the protagonist in the best Italian and European clubs. Stefano Noferini is always present at the oceanic events, such as Exogroove, Syncopate, Promise Land, Tribal Gathering, Energy, May Day, Love parade and Eurofestival in Holland or even at the most trendy happening, as New York Bar in Milan, and the fashion parties of Prada, Diesel and presentation tour of Smart (Mercedes group). In 1988 Stefano Noferini has been one of the promoters of “Italian Club Culture”, the one and only Italian official track that has ever joined in Love Parade in Berlin.
Stefano Noferini is not merely a DJ, he started his career as producer and art director, with his new company called Sound4Group. The labels of the company diversify through their kind of music. Loud Bit, No Label and Deeperfect produce house, electronic, electro & tribal tracks, these labels are already leaving their mark in Italy and in Europe. As a solo artist, Stefano Noferini has two albums out, From Here to the Moon and Van, was even the title of radio and TV programmes, on air from Radio Italia Network, Crazy Dance and Odeon TV. “Van” had the task of promoting and talking about clubbing and alternative music.
As far as his productions are concerned, we must mention his great remixes for some of the most important house tracks: “To Be in Love” by MAW feat. India, “My Good Is Real” by Kaya, “Fallin” by Robbie Rivera, X-Factor 7 feat. Amber Jones “That’s The Way Love Goes”, “The Shaft” by Isaac Eyes, “Love Is All We Need”, Love Inc. “C’mon C’mon” and Bigfellas “Beautiful” out on BMG, Mix Master “Latin Session (Asì Asì)” on Stonebridge Records, Delinquent feat KCAT “My Destiny” for AATW and Miguel Picasso “Don’t Stop” for Stealth Record Roger Sanchez’s label. Just think about “Get Movin”, released all over the world and even included in compilations produced by Warner and available all over the world, and “Get On Down” in a double vinyl package , Noferini & Andy f “Body Shine”, Noferini & Jack in the city “C’Mon”, Noferini “Sex”.
In the 2007 Stefano begins with a new Project : CLUB EDITION.
Club Edition isn’t only the new own compilation selected by him but also a Radio show on the road. On the Road because it is broadcasted by more than 15 radios all around the world like for example : Straight Up (Australia), SSRadio (UK) Hit Clubbin (Spain), Univerdace (Canarie), Energy Fm (UK), Gaydar Radio (UK), TDI radio (Belgrado), HFM (Ibiza), Greg Philosophy (Greece)Top Radio (Belgium) Planet radio (italy), DFR (Czech Rep.) Jay Culture (Italy), Ibiza Voice (Spain) NightWax @ Placet More Music Radio (Germany) Radio FG (France) Viva Fm e Mastermind (Italy) 105 Network (italy). Club Edition is also a one night and tour that will be “On The Road” starting from next summer .
In June 2007 Stefano releases a new single in collaboration with Kortezman and it features the legendary vocalist JOCELYN BROWN. The package has 13 tracks including remixes by 7th HEAVEN, JESSE GARCIA, PHUNKK MOB, PORNOCULT, HERNANDEZ Vs TYO. Before the official release, Mr. Roger Sanchez’ playlist “I don’t Want You Anymore” on Release Yourself, being one of the first “fortunate tracks” that received the promo in Miami during the Winter Music Conference of 2007.
