Группа Unloco была сформированна в 2000 году фронтменом Джоуи Дуенасом (Joey Duenas). В этом же году группа выпустила сингли с шестью треками, названную Useless от Captiva Records.
Группа перешла к лейблу Madonna's Maverick Records и 20 марта 2001 года Unloco выпустили свой дебютный альбом Healing, спродюсированный Johnny K.
Позже гитарист Брайан Артур (Brian Arthur) покинул группу, присоединившись к Goldfinger, и был заменнен Майклом Серанно (Marc Serrano).
Их вторая работа - Becoming i, был выпущен 11 Марта 2003 года и был спродюссирован Андрю Мюрдоком (Andrew Murdock) – известным по таким группам как Powerman 5000, Godsmack, Chimaira и многим другим артистам. В этот же год группа гастролировалла вместе с Korn, открывая фестиваль Music as a Weapon II, и присутствовала на Ozzfest 2003 года. Лейбл отказывается далее работать с группой потому-что, Becoming i проваливается и группа разделяется в этот же год.
После этого гитарист Сарк Серрана присоединяется к A Dozen Furies, барабанщик Пит Наваррет (Pete Navarret) организует свою комманду под названием Exit the Sun, а вокалист Джоуи Дуенас (Joey Duenas) создает свою - Anew Revolution, включающую членов группы Slaves on Dope. Ünloco was an alternative metal band hailing from Austin Texas, USA. The band was formed in 2000 by frontman Joey Duenas.
The band's first album Healing struggled to sell, and the band received little support from their label Maverick Records.
Ultimately, Maverick gave them a second chance and they recorded their second album Becoming i in 2003. This time, the label supported them and got them touring with big name bands such as Korn and Disturbed. They also appeared at Ozzfest 2003. The album was produced by Andrew Murdock, responsible for Powerman 5000, Godsmack and Chimaira among other artists. Even with a more focussed sound and better production, Becoming i failed to sell, and the band split up that same year.
Since then, guitarist Marc Serrano (who was recruited for the second album) joined the now departed metalcore group A Dozen Furies, vocalist Joey Duenas formed a band called A New Revolution (featuring members from Slaves On Dope), and Pete Navarrete formed a band called Exit The Sun.
