Rie Sinclair is a an Emmy-Nominated Recording Artist and Top Line Songwriter, who grew up in St. Paul, MN and currently resides between Los Angeles and Manchester, UK. She has been crafting music for television since 2004. Her credits include: The Vampire Diaries, Ghost Whisperer, Revenge, Samantha Who, Young & The Restless, Law & Order, and Californication. In 2008, She launched her own label, I Miss You Records. She's also written a catalogue of music for ABC/Disney.
ABC has released 2 albums worth of her singles, featuring other indie artists: Caitlin Crosby, Jay Nash, Molly Jensen, Jayson Belt, Piera Klein, & Chris Cox, and several performed by actress Kristen Alderson. Sinclair also has an extensive list of co-writing credits, dozens of cuts on other albums. Project collaborations include Violet & Mayhem, a Bakersfield/Americana group and Bedtime Stories: an ongoing multi-media/electronica project with mixer Bob DeMaa, producer Steve Hopkins, & mixer/engineer Jason Bouma (who hand-crafted an amplifier for Sinclair). Previous side projects include Oliver The Penguin, with Tommy Walter (Abandoned Pools/Eels). The two worked on the theme title for 2010's MTV series Blonde Charity Mafia (also available on iTunes).
She was also the voice of SOAPnet’s first original Prime-time series, “General Hospital: Night Shift”. Her work for ABC's Network has attracted a growing fan base with Daytime recurring theme-songs including "Just You & Me", Emmy-Nominated, "Where You Are" and the scandalous and lush "Kish" Song (Kyle & Oliver), My Confession, for One Life To Life.
