Текст песни Amanda Ghost - Numb

Amanda Ghost - Numb слова песни

"numb" is about a deep platonic friendship, the kind that in some ways is more intense that any romantic relationship. "i feel everything four million times more than anyone else-Very, very sensitive," admits ghost, as she reveals the personal story behind "numb." "its all about not wanting to feel what I felt, wanting to anesthetize myself to the reNship. but the irony is that I did [feel it], of course, otherwise I wouldnt have written the song. when youre going out with someone and its not working out, youre like, okay, finished, ovTs gone. with friendships, you cant do that, you cant just go, its over, its finished. you always just have to keep working on it. the person I wrote that about is the person I love mostHe world. I love him more than anyone in my life, any lover Ive ever had. they bring great things to you, but for every luxury, theres a heartache, theres a price to pay."I didnt notice youDidnt have a point of viewAll the things that mattered thenOnly really hit me when I saw that inside you were scaredLying on a bed of nailsBuild me up to watch me failAll the ones that went beforeNever really wanted more than you were not willing to giveChorusIm falling downCant see the truthI know the hell that youve been throughIm falling out of love with youBut Ill find defencesIll try to care lessWont someone help me feel numbFelt the sting of acid rainSweet messiah come again sitting on my pedestalI never really felt at all that Im the same person as youIm falling downCant see the truthI know the hell that youve been throughIm walking side by side with youBut Ill find defencesIll try to care lessWont someone help me feel numbIll find defencesIll try to care lessWont someone help me feel numb
