Текст песни Biz Markie - I Told You

Biz Markie - I Told You слова песни

This is for those who didnt believeThat me, myself they said I couldnt achieveMy goal or even get to my destinyTo be the s-k-b-i-zIt was a rough road, for me to pursue aCareer in rap to make you say hallelujahFor those who did, Im not talkin to youCause I couldnt be there with-out youEverytime I see you they always sayI knew you was gonna make hits somedayBut then when I was strugglin hard, wordA peep of help from them was never heardI always knew that, I was gonna make itNo matter how much beef and aggravation I take itAnd if you try to hold back me and my crewRemember, I told you..I told you..Ima give you one incedent from my pastWhen I had short money, goofy pants off my assI used to go to block parties my cousin had servedAnd see how people who made it, kicked others to the curbAnd then I said if I was in their spotlightI would treat everybody, equally rightTo get where Im at now, I used to hand out flyersFrom school to school, for new york and l.i.ersIt was me and mike from ike and then they used to do itHe said if you wanna be like them you gotta keep to itSo I kept at it, cause it was hard workI told em I was makin a record, they gave me a smirkLike if I was incapable of doin the deedOr virtually impossible for me to succeedYou must be crazy if I wouldnt pursueOnly thing that I can tell you is I told you..I told you..Now now now this is how its endinJust like any other story, it is splendidI said to ty if you let me come out with a cutThey will never ever stop shakin they buttsSo I came out with "make the music with your mouth biz"An introduction to me, and told it like it isSome said it was beginners luck, with this recordThen I showed em with "nobody beats the biz" and got respectedI threw em off with my song "pickin boogers"It was acquired taste, for different kind of sugarsI got international like twin skyscrapersWith my album "goin off" and my single "the vapors"Since I produced my own, they said it would endCause it took a year and half to come out with "just a friend"It went platinum, my album went goldAltogether it was one point five records soldSo dont ever try to hold back me and my crewOnly thing that I can say is, I told you..I told you..So when anybody try to, mess with your headJust go for what you wanna go for in life, aight? chill
