Biz Markie - Things Get a Little Easier слова песни

And yes y`all, yes y`allThis is, a different type of dedicationTo my man Marcus from Kansas CityBut I`m just tellin ya straight on upDon`t be messin with no drugsWhether you`re young, whether you`re oldWhether you`re bad, whether you`re boldDon`t mess with it cause it`s not for the soulAnd we gonna do it a little somethinwith three subjects like this..[Biz Markie]Subject one is about a brother by the name of JohnWho was sellin crack, just like it was AvonAnd you know y`know the reason I say "was"Because that`s no longer what my man John doesThere was a time when he was wearin much goldDrivin a Benz, Jaguar and a RollsThe lifestyle he lived was far from penny anteYo-ho-ho-ho-ho, word to granny`s pantiesCause he would make dough-roll, and swing it like a yo-yoBein broke, was just a no-noBut then the day came when John got caughtAnd he was dropped like pantyhose without supportYou shoulda thought about, what you did in the pastTo realize, this fast livin wouldn`t lastBut, the same guy that was a big hoodlumIs now in jail, waitin for someone to duke him[Chorus - kids singing 4X]Things get a little easierOnce you learn to understand it[Biz Markie]Subject two, and this one is a doozyA messed up story about a girl named SuzyNow when you`re on WIC, the problems may seem enoughBut you know she had to get Scotty to beam her upOn a crack mission, no type of ambitionMake blunts disappear better than a magicianHer eyes got dim, her body got slimShe said there`s nothin in the world like a good ol` stemOn and like on and, and it was strongGrabbed her pipe and sung a song"I want to get HIGH.. so high!""I want to get HIGH.. so high!"She`d go out buy a nice rock just to suit herThen hit the weed spot to be blessed by buddhaBum offa Lucy to complete her stimulationPut it all together for a perfect combinationI mean this girl would actually buy a rock withthe very last dime she got in her pocketAnd when she saw her friends, comin from the spotLike Prudential, she got a piece of their rockThat`s why[Chorus][Biz Markie]Subject three, finally, theE-N-D about a girl by the name of MarieShe used to be hot, most beautiful to the utmostI mean this girl was blessed with an overdoseof curves, swerves, word to the mother my brotherAnd boy did the B-I-Z love herBut then.. {*singing*} those.. were.. the.. DAYSMy friend.. we thought they`d never endAnd she looked alright, to the S-K Biz MarkieBut then she got on drugsStarted wearin extensions and rugsAnd let me tell you what say happened to Marie{*rapping*} because nowadays Marie don`t look so hotEverytime that I see her, she`s headed for the spotHer hair is all knotty, got Scotty got her bodyAnd her underarms kickin like the ho know karateHer clothes are real dirty, and usually the sameAs for money she don`t have a dime to claimBecause when I saw the girl the other dayShe was puttin a pack of Now-or-Laters on layaway[Chorus] - fades out
