Текст песни Cece Winans - Alabaster Box

Cece Winans - Alabaster Box слова песни

The room grew stillAs she made her way to JesusShe stumbles through the tears that made her blindShe felt such painSome spoke in angerHeard folks whisperThere`s no place here for her kindStill on she cameThrough the shame that flushed her faceUntil at last, she knelt before his feetAnd though she spoke no wordsEverything she said was heardAs she poured her love for the MasterFrom her box of alabasterRefrainAnd I`ve come to pourMy praise on HimLike oil from Mary`s alabaster boxDon`t be angry if I wash his feet with my tearsAnd I dry them with my hairYou weren`t there the night He found meYou did not feel what I feltWhen he wrapped his love all around me andYou don`t know the cost of the oilIn my alabaster boxI can`t forget the way life used to beI was a prisoner to the sin that had me boundAnd I spent my days Poured my life without measureInto a little treasure boxI`d thought I`d foundUntil the day when Jesus came to meAnd healed my soulWith the wonder of His touchSo now I`m giving back to HimAll the praise He`s worthy ofI`ve been forgiven And that`s whyI love Him so muchRefrainAnd I`ve come to pourMy praise on HimLike oil from Mary`s alabaster boxDon`t be angry if I wash his feet with my tearsAnd dry them with my hair (my hair)You weren`t there the night Jesus found meYou did not feel what I felt When He wrapped his loving arms around me andYou don`t know the cost of the oilOh, you don`t know the cost of my praiseYou don`t know the cost of the oilIn my alabaster box
