Cure - one hundred years | guitar chord и Mp3 слова песни

From: Winston Campbell Subject: ONE HUNDRED YEARS by The CureOne Hundred Years (words by Robert Smith, music by Simon Gallup, Laurence Tolhurst, andRobert Smith)-Pornography- opens up with this cool anti-God-given-anything-good song.I was too lazy to put the chords over the words but here is the riffnonetheless: Cm B Cm BE ------------|------------|------------|-----4--3--4-3-|B ------------|------------|------------|---------------|G -7/////-|-7/////-|-7/////-|-4-------------|D ------------|------------|------------|---------------|A ------------|------------|------------|---------------|E ------------|------------|------------|---------------|If you have heard the song before, I am sure you know what 7//// means. To play that you just have to repeatedly bend the note 1/2 step up and down. And I think you strike the note a couple times in the measure (sayaround four times- I have not transcribed it that way). You will noticethat the song goes from Cm to B. If I wanted to be technical, for the fourth measure I would have wrote B, Bsus6, Bsus5, Bsus6 over the 4--3-4notes on the high E string but I am not going to.That is the main riff. For the lyrics such as "waiting for the death blow","just like the old days" and "one after the other", a Bb chord is played. For the "a hundred years" part, Gb is played and then the song goes back toCm to B. That is basically it. Here are the lyrics:It doesn`t matter if we all dieAmbition in the back of a black carIn a high building there is so much to doGoing home timeA story on the radioSomething small falls out of your mouthAnd we laughA prayer for something betterA prayer for something betterPlease love meMeet my motherBut the fear takes holdCreeping up the stairs in the darkWaiting for the death blowWaiting for the death blowWaiting for the death blowStroking your hair as the patriots are shotFighting for freedom on the televisionSharing the world with slaughtered pigsHave we got everything? She struggles to get awayThe pain and the creeping feelingA little black haired girlWaiting for SaturdayThe death of her father pushing herPushing her white face into the mirrorAching inside meAnd turn me aroundJust like the old daysJust like the old daysJust like the old daysJust like the old daysCaressing an old manAnd painting a lifeless faceJust a piece of new meat in a clean roomThe soldiers close in under a yellow moonAll shadows and deliveranceUnder a black flagA hundred years of bloodCrimsonThe ribbon tightens round my throatI open my mouthAnd my head bursts openA sound like a tiger thrashing in the waterThrashing in the waterOver and overWe die one after the otherOver and overWe die one after the otherOne after the otherOne after the otherOne after the otherOne after the otherIt feels like a hundred yearsA hundred yearsA hundred yearsA hundred yearsA hundred yearsOne hundred years
