D Nice - A Few Dollars More слова песни

I grew up in the city where everything is roughWhere everywhere I turn, I seen somebody gettin bustPlus everywhere I lookAll I could see is a crackhead or a goddamned crookRunnin` around with a pistol or a bladeStickin` up -- in other words, gettin` paidBut I chose not to follow those waysCause the only place you headin` is to jail or the graveBut on the other handI know a man named StanWho in the future had plansTo be successful on his quest toTake his moms and pops out the ghettoBut that plan was soon to be crushedWhen one day he realized he mustGet a better job to pay for his schoolinWhile his friends would sit around just coolinHe applied for a job in the systemAnd everywhere he looked, everybody would diss himHe doesn`t have any type of skillAnd life is not all games, it`s realhe took a long walk down the streetTryin` to think of a way to make his ends meet, huhSo he could buy the fly things he adoredAnd all Stan wanted to make was a few dollars moreAs he walked home, he thought to himselfNow what am I supposed to do to get wealthHe felt that his life was worthlessThen he ran into his man named CurtisNow Curtis, he`s the type that stops and bragsAbout all the things he`s gotDrivin` a Saab with a black ragtopCome to find out Curt`s workin` for the copsHe told Stan there`s a job that`s openMakin` it all sound good, just hopin he would take itYup, and like a big dummyStan said "Freak it, yo, I need the money"Curt took Stan to meet his bossOfficer Sims, a sergeant on the forceHe gave him a gun and Stan beganHis new career as a damn hit manhis boss really liked his workAnd gave the boot to his partner Curthe didn`t realize what he was in forAnd all Stan wanted to make was a few dollars moreA few dollars more is what he started to makeNow he`s drivin` around a Saab, with a house upstateHe got gold and diamond ringsCrazy girls and all those glamorous thingsBut one day this life-style endWhen one afternoon while hangin` with a friendSittin` in the park, drinkin` quarts of beerAnd somebody said "Throw your hands in the air,It`s a stick-up" and put the gun to his headAnd said, "Make another move and you`re dead"Now Stan had to make is choiceHe paused and said I recognize that voiceHuh, where have I heard thisNow he remember, it`s his man named CurtisCurtis is mad and felt he`d been robbed"Cause Stan is drivin` around in his SaabHe looked at Stan and said, "I can`t believe him,Now its` time for me to get even"Stan made a move real quickCurt jumped back and said, "Yo, that`s it"Shot him in the back of his head with a nineReached in his pocket, grabbed his cash and then dashedNow here lies the man on the sideThe same way he lived was the same way he diedHe never knew what he had in storeAnd all Stan wanted to make was a few dollars more
