Darkwoods My Betrothed - When Ancient Spirits Battled слова песни

The battle of the giants was ragingThe Earth tried to free from the IceWho had taken her to his deadly embraceAnd shunned her from all lightThe Sun rose and set a million timesIn the southern horizonBefore he felt pity for the EarthDecided to save his beloved oneThe warm rays of the Sun laid upon the EarthIce began to melt - waters flowSo withdrew the Ice northwards to a landWhere aurora borealis glowIn time were water driedStill was the Earth desolateNo life, no growth but one treeSuffering of Ice`s winds` hateOf the seeds of this lonely treeGrew a forest and another and anotherThe landscape changed to blue and greenLakes and forests became brothersAlthough winters were coldThe land survived and filled with lifeWolves and bears wandered in woodsNot threatened by spear or knifeAt a dawn on a hillside climbed a two-legged creatureWrapped in a hide and carrying a sharpened boneHe watched the land and its beautyThis was going to be his home.......(Music: Teemu Words: Teemu)
