It is an Am-G-F-E progression, and really can bejust made up off of that, since it sounds like he`s just syncopating the singlenote on the E string. I`ll write up what I do in this area. Note the syncopationwith the notes around the 3. 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &G|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|D|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|A|-----------7---------------7-------|-----------5---------------5-------|E|---5-------------5---5---------5---|---3-------------3---3---------3---| 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &G|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|D|-----------------------------------|-----------------------------------|A|-----------3---------------3-------|---------------4-------4---2---0---|E|---1-------------1---1---------1---|---0-------------------------------|I just cooked this up for those of us who don`t like `follow the chords` basstab. I know that stuff stinks. I hope this is satisfactory.Then comes the little break with all the `why` lyrics.
