Donald-D - Who Got the Gun? слова песни

[ VERSE 1 ]It was a quarter to eight, Jazz was runnin lateI was layin in bed with a girl that would tailgateWhen he showed up enraged about a headlineThat said I committed a crimeIt said that I was the trigger manAnd that I had the 50 grandIt was a frame-up, why was I set up?I think it`s because I don`t let upBut before I could give my statementPolice cold rushed in my tenementThey guns ready to fire for some violence"You have the right to remain silent"Cuffed behind my back, pushed into a carWhat the hell is this, I`m a rap starDown at the station behind a closed doorInterrogated by the fuckin lawWhat they heard was word of mouth, there`s no truth to itSo I sit in a bottomless pitWith criminals, I`m no criminal, why am I treated like one?Yo, what have I done?Nothin, so give me my justiceThe system is a joke, I don`t trust thisAgain and again they said, "Listen, sonAll we wanna know is: who got the gun?" (Gotta get away Gotta get away, run)[ VERSE 2 ]I was smacked and beaten down with a nitestickBy these cops that are fuckin hicksI cursed their mamas down to their granniesTo shut the fuck up was what they demand meMy bond was set, Chilly Dee had the bailI`m raisin hell as I lift from my cellBack at the Syndicate headquartersTryin to get my thoughts in orderSo I called the Syndicate ringleaderIce-T told me he didn`t know either orWho wanted me behind barsWas it a rival rap star?Chilly-D said, "Yo, don`t dwell on itTheir story will never stick"I said, "Word em up, let`s go get a bite to eatCar system boomin a funky beatAfter a hour or so of grubbin and talkinCheck was paid, to the car we start walkinTwo cars pull up, one in front, one in backUzi in my face, now I`m kidnappedFaces in the car, I knew noneWith the question from the driver: "Who got the gun?" (Gotta get away Gotta get away, run)[ VERSE 3 ]Chained against the wall like a wild beastThis smelled like the dirt of policeThey said, "Give up the gun," I don`t need itMistaken idendity was how I pleadedThey questioned my whereabouts on June 5thWhen a cop entered the roomHe said, "Fuck it, put a bullet through the nigger"Out of this hell hole I had to figureThe bossman told em to chill on the killHe said, "Listen, we will front you a dealYou can keep the money, here`s a kilo for funBut all you gotta do is get us the gun"They stepped off, so I tried to relaxBut felt uneasy by the sound of ratsPiecin away on the wooden doorThis is a long way from bein on tourToo strong to weap, won`t sell myself cheapSlowly but surely I was fallin asleepWith a thought on my mind that continued to runI would like to know - who got the gun? (Gotta get away Gotta get away, run)[ VERSE 4 ]I was awaken by the sound of car tiresAnd then I heard gunfireAnd I knew the Syndicate was gunninBy the sound of the enemies runninSpike held his gun on the head honchoHe had no choice but to show themWhere I was at, Randy Mac shot his gatOn the sucker he dissed who tried to diss backI was freed, but we was still on a missionTo take out those who did not listenTo my warning that the Syndicate was largeWe let loose a brutal barrageVic was quick, Ice was nice, Islam dropped napalmBronx Style took a bullet in his armHe didn`t feel it, so many caps, he had to peel itIf you wasn`t down, we had to kill itI would show an all-out RamboLettin off a round of ammoWhen I stumbled upon their drug operationAnd a cop who wanted me deadHe tried to pull out, but my gun rang outQuicker than his, as he cried outIn pain, as he fell outIt was the end, his lights went outWith the same thought that weighed a tonI will never know who had the gun
