Текст песни End zone - The Remedy

End zone - The Remedy слова песни

Epigraph:"Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for-it is a thing to be achieved.William Jennings Bryan"A question fadesIn the stillness of the airI have to seekThe answer by myselfWhat if I don`t?..What if I quit?..Life is a gameI`m the misfitThere is a scarCut deep, too farBeyond my fleshOn through my soulLifetime dividing gashTen thousand dreamsAnd miles awayThere`s my lost yesterdayA peaceful flowThrough days... and maybe yearsAmong the thoughtsOf how it could have been...If I was thereBack then again,Was unawareOf any painDay after dayIt gets harderTo bear this scarAnd overcome this depression bizzareI close my eyesAnd wonder whySomeone does not give upA remedy-The healing powerIs it really in me?..Post Scriptum:The idea for this song came after the tragedy that befell Jason Becker. To the authors the way Jason treated this terrible SCAR is the clear exampleof how a person, a human being DOES NOT GIVE UP in the face of earthlymisery and chooses to go on strugglingonly with the strength of his will. This is indeed a choice to be respected. The authors would like to addressthis song to those making their final choice of life and death.
