Текст песни fifteen - Mount Shrink Wrap

fifteen - Mount Shrink Wrap слова песни

I used to sell a lot of things CD`s Records Tshirts and MagazinesI used to sell a lot of things, patches and stickerSo I could buy guitar stringsI used to buy a lot of thingsCigarettes, and coffee and gasolineIt kinda sucks when you`re in a bandYou gotta pollute the air, just to travel across the landIt just got me downI just get in the car and drive from town to townI tell people not to drive, but im just a clownCuz I drive more than anyone Yeah,I just drive aroundTell people to eat right and follow their heart. But you know I`m not very smartCuz I get my dinner at the mini-martI went to the demonstration to say no war for oil.And the cops sprayed mace in my faceWe go on tour in the summer, but the van`s got a leak.We spray oil all over the place.I went to see Judi Bari talk about saving some redwood trees. And she sang some songsShe didn`t use no electricityShe didn`t have to press up no cdsShe didn`t have to make no booklets or sleevesShe didn`t have to kill nothing to say her peaceAnd it got me to thinking aboutHow maybe I`m just too attached. To people talking about my latest recordSelling shit and getting tax free cashAnd it got me to thinking aboutHow I`mnot really living the life I`m talking aboutSo I gave it up, and I left the cityGot a place with a yard and I planted myself a gardenI used to sell a lot of thingsUntil I found out how manyAbout 15,000 of each releaseThat`s roughly one mountain of shrink wrapI used to buy a lot of thingsBut you know I`ll just sit and watch my garden growAnd when the summer time comesI`ll just eat from my garden and live like a bumI`m gonna put some roots downAnd I`m gonna grow
