Once upon a time in the projects, yoI damn near had to wreck a hoI knocked on the door - "who is it? "It’s ice cube, come to pay a little visit to yaAnd what’s up with the niggers in the parking lotShe said fuck em, cause they get sparked alotI sat on the couch but it wasn’t stableAnd then I put my nikes on the coffee table( )Her brother walked in he’s into gangbanginCause he walked up and said "what set you claimin"I don’t bang I write the good rhymesThe whole scenery reminded me of good timesI hate to feel bad but I’m in a rutBy a young nigga that needs to pull his pants upHer mother came in with a joint in her mouthAnd fired up the sess it was sess no doubtShe said please excuse my house and all thatI said yeah cause I was buzzed from the contactLookin at a fucked up black and whiteHer mom’s bitchin cause the county check wasn’t rightShe had another brother that was three years oldAnd had a bad case of the runny noseHe asked me who I was then I had to pauseIt smelled like he took a shit in his little drawersI saw her sister that needs get her ass kickedOnly thirteen and already pregnantI grabbed the forty out the bag and took a swigCause I was getting overwhelmed by bebe kidsThey were runnin and playin and cursin and yellinAnd tellin and look at this young punk bailinI heard a knock on the door without the passwordAnd her mom’s got the 12 guage mossbergThe nigga said "yo, what’s for sale"And the bitch came out with a bag of ya-yoShe made the drop and got the 20 dollarsFrom a smoked out fool with ring around the collarThe girl I was waiting for came outI said bitch I didn’t know this was a crack houseI got my coat and suddenly ...(police breaking into house annoucing themselves)The cop busted in and had a mac-10 pointed to my domeAnd I said to myself once again it’s onHe threw me on the carpet no slap jumped backStomped on my head and put his knee in my backFirst he tried to wrap me up, slap me up, rough me upThey couldn’t do it so they cuffed me upI said fuck how much abuse can a nigga takeHey yo officer you’re making a big mistakeSince I had on a shirt that said I was dopeHe thought I was selling base and couldn’t hear my caseHe said get out my face I musta had a grudgeHis reply tell that bullshit to the judgeThe girl I was with wasn’t sayin nothinI said aiyyo bitch you better tell em somethinShe started draggin and all of a suddenWe all got tossed in the patty wagonNow I beat the rap but that ain’t the pointI had a warrant so I spent 2 weeks in the jointNow the story you heard has one little objectDon’t fuck with a bitch from the projects!
