I fell in love with it when I first heard "6 & 12 String Guitar"(the Armadillo album) some 20 years ago. For so many years I wantedto learn it and it defeated me. This version finally came togetherabout 2 years ago. It`s based largely on the transcription in"8 Songs" but I have modified it to fit more closely to therecorded version on "6 & 12 String Guitar" -- evidently thetranscription in "8 Songs" is taken from a different recordedversion. Although the piece is in the key of A, on "6 & 12 String Guitar" Kottke is tuned down so it sounds in the key of F.Finally, a standard disclaimer: any errors here are mine.
