Im a say it anyway.I thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeYour the only one that understands my painIm twenty three, I done seen the whole world rotEvery type of crime, loud cheers from the audience,They was jocking my styleBuck wild, doing my thang, fulfilling my dreamShit, I remember thinking about back when I was a teenI know Im blessed, just having this tank around my chestCause every city that I been to homeless people facing deathI shed a tear, could never understand thier painCant even shelter thier own families in the pouring rainWhat did they do to deserve this lifeWas it so horrible to make them serve a homeless night,Shit aint rightCause we eating, sleeping in good healthWhat we dont want we throw away, thinking only yourselfPeople need help, this generation we lostCrying for what we want, not just crying for what we needMen have to hunt just to feedAnd we complaining bout bullshitWhen we should thank him for the smaller things we did getI thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeYour the only one that understands my painI thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeYour the only one that understands my pain[mia x]Father I thank you for granting me another day to open my eyesSo I can see my little boy and girl playPray for so many worldly things I lust and greedGot us calling on you mostly when we think that we need somethingAnd we be running to the Bible when we locked upBut when we free we tryin a tear the block upNegativitys embedded in our brains along with the mental chainsThat we wear thanks to the slave masters gameI came to humble myself, cause through your mercy and graceI got my freedom, my health and my spiritual wealthMy faiths been tested many times, the devils so busyBut you gave me strength to conquer evil, lord I feel you in mePlease forgive me for the times I havent been rightAnd god, I thank you for this precious gift, my lifeI love you lord[magic]Lord.Me and mia.We do this all for you.I thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeSee, Im trying to teach the whole worldI thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeCause its you that understands my painI hear people complain they fat but you blessed, people hungryWhat you dont see those children on tv, starving and bonyYou phony, would they complain if they could eat half that you eatOr maybe sleep some of the places you sleepI hear people complain they broke but you blessed cause you livingBetter start thanking the lord for the life that you was givingNot a preacher but Im preaching to the people I can reachTell em you say your prayers fore you fall asleepIf you aint saying your prayers then you aint getting no blessingsIf you aint getting no blessings, thats why your ass is stressingIm trying to teach a lesson, if you listen to the words I speakYou can see my lord is the quickest way to get back on your feetParents should be teaching this just as soon as your bornWouldnt matter its out the Bible or the holy ahranEverything is everything and my God is the beginningWith him, no losers, just winnersI thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeYou see Im trying to teach the whole worldI thank you lord for my lifeForgive me lord for complaining so muchI thank you lord for my lifeYou can truly understand my painI thank you lord for my lifeI mean, just think about it.Everybody in this world are sinners. It never matters to him.Because we all his children, you know what Im saying? Everybody here is capable.Hes coming back someday yall for us.So you gotta straighten out your life, know what Im saying? Stop complaining about all the small things.Start waking up in the morning and thanking for things that you have. You know people thats blindWill give up everything they have just to have sight.People with no fingersWill give up everything they have just to have a hand. And you get up and you complain about small things. You cant pay a light bill. You cant put gas in your car.But your walking, your breathing.
