Metalium - Throne In The Sky слова песни

[Theme:Loreley / Germany]At the old Rhine ages ago,Up the rock above the hillLoreley sat and sang with graceSo thousands of ships where killedCan`t you see her golden eyesThis magic spell takes you to hellAnd drops you out of sightSailors tried to find(the) throne in the skyHear their doomed souls cry(to the) throne in the skyDon`t take the choiceSo her graceful voiceWill ever be your guide, noSeven virgins enticed the lostHer desire, their commandSo the seas they needed to crossThey would never see againcan`t you see her golden eyesthis magic spell takes you to helland drops you out of sightthe sailors tried to findthe throne in the skyhear their doomed souls crythrone in the sky[STORY:]A huge rock in Mid Germany (132 meters above sea)overlooks the old Rhine. It is said, that from the topof this rock a ghost-like image of Loreley sangsailors to their doom as they heard herfascinating, sad voice when they passedthe bend of the river, crashing their shipsonto the rocks and sank to ground. The tale speaks that she once was a mortal girl, but she threw herself from the top of the rockinto the Rhine because her lover proved her unfaithful.
