Mortification - Ancient Prophecy слова песни

Behold the ancient scripture brought forth a prophecyRevealed in the testament of old for all mankind toseeThe prophet Isaiah foretold long agoThe coming of a man who would heal their landHe assumed a servents nature written in Isaiah 53He grew in wisdom and statureHealed many and set them freeTorment and pain gripped the landDesperation of release grew strongThe prophet saw the time was nearImpending deliverance for which they longedThe prophet Isaiah foretold long agoBloodied crucifixion would bring forth redemptionBehold the prophecy revealed before youTestifies of blood spilt from butchered arteriesMangled beyond human likenessShredded meat hanging from his skeletal cageThis Blood spraying from a mass of twisted fleshBrings forth redemption to partake you must receiveDo it now before you die or pay the priceMake a step toward God or be destroyedSurely He hath borne our griefs, weakness and distressAnd carried our sorrows and painYet we ignorantly considered Him strickenSmitten by God and afflictedBut He was wounded for our transgressionsHe was bruised for our guilt and iniquitiesThe chastisement needed to obtain peace and well-beingFor us was upon Him and with the lashings and tormentThat butchered Him we are healed and made completeHe assumed a servants nature written in Isaiah 53He grew in wisdom and statureHealed many and set them freeAncient writings formed on parchment conceivedBeyond the realm of timeFulfillment yet to be achieved timeUnfolds to reveal completionThe prophet Isaiah foretold long agoBlood justificationSpiritual completionThis Blood spraying from a mass of twisted fleshBrings forth redemption to partake you must receiveDo it now before you die or pay the priceMake a step toward God or be destroyed[Isaiah 53:4-5]
