Текст песни My Dying Bride - The Blue Lotus

My Dying Bride - The Blue Lotus слова песни

Under the darkened, Ancient oakGentle in the nights breezeI stop and stare, rest a whileWith hands upon my kneesThrough jaded leaves, bush and scrubI spy my journeys endBlack it looms, silent gloomThe castle called AvendOn I trot, past forest eyesPast horrors of the nightThrough the dark, I see a signA gentle glowing lightUpon reaching the castle I ascend the ivyTowards the golden windowMy heart pounds my breath is rushedAs I fight both brick and branchThe ledge is mine and over I sweepSilent like the falling snowQuiet, I slip across the polished floorTonight, I will dine with chanceThe Blue Lotus, a legend, I thought a mythOld poems and stories goneA beauty of unimaginable lustBoth men`s hearts, and Gods, were wonSkin like milk, an angels faceThay say her smile could killHer hair the blackest of all blackStories I thought Though, stillSo there she lay spleeping upon the bedHalf covered by fantastic silksHer breast I see, moves with her dreamsA sight I will always recallA single candle that showed me the wayThrough forest, river and hillsGlows upon that lovely skinShadows dancing aroun the wallsCloser I creep, toward my prizeThe Blue Lotus lies before meHer lips are full, red as bloodMoist as they invite meStoop I did to kiss those lipsIn that glowing roomWhen suddenly, she did awake,Her eyes filled with doomFrom silks, her hands were round my neckEscape there was no hopeA brief flash of teeth is all I sawAnd gone was my throatHer bloodlust deep, she swallowed meRed was all I sawShe drank her fill and watched me fallGently to the floorA league away my death is foundBy locals who tens this landWho lay me down in shllow earthA single Lotus placed in my hand
