Scarface - Now I Feel Ya слова песни

...It`s a new day... ya know what I`m sayin`?A new day, brings a new problem to a brotherand all I gots ta say is thank god for my mothercause without my mommy dear my life would`ve been jokeeither locked up playin` dead and still slangin` dope but nopeThe lord he had a plan for meand with his help, my mother made a man of medidn`t blindfold me to the world we was livin` intaught me how to save my little dividendsso when I graduated I`d have a little school moneybut in the sixth grade I wanted to be the school dummyand flunked outta school with the flag poleand left my mother dear at home with a sad soulbecause my mother worked the fingers to the bonecause we was alone, and me I bought a death homeMy real pops he broke out with the styleso I respect my stepdad, for raisin` another nigga`s childSo now we livin` comftabletaught me the game and how to be responsibleBut back then I couldn`t see itI wanted to be a grown man at fourteen so the kid`s leavin`and ended up in a big fightand told me not to come home until I got my shit rightSo now I`m livin` in my grandma`s homemy grandma`s strong, she`s got nine kids of her ownand keepin` me ain`t no big dealbut now that I`m much older I see just how the shit feelsbeing kind-hearted, not wantin` to tell me noeven though my grandfather just had a strokeand now the money`s lowand pretty soon a brother`s gonna have ta goor either try to find a job so I can help outI`m in the ghetto, I gots ta get myself outand when I get out I gotta try to pave the wayso my family can have a better place to stayI`m losin` all hope, a brother`s fallin` shortI can`t cope, so now I`m slangin` dopeand now my granny knows I`m doin` wrongshe just prayin` for me heavilytake care of her grandsonand the lord must of heard her prayercause he made me get a gripand got me on up outta thereI heard my mother say them streets is gonna kill yayou couldn`t have told me nothin` back thenbut now I feel ya...I`m eighteen, and now I`m havin` big funmy baby`s mother just had my first sonMay eleven, I never will forget the dayA star`s born, let`s name him little ScarfaceMy first born and yo I`m a proud fatherI gotta son, I gots ta be my son`s fatherand sellin dope ain`t the way that I can get aheadbut what the hell, I gots ta keep my baby fedI buy him milk, and pampers tryin ta do my partand he`s my son, I gots ta try to make him hardI buy him clothes, and jewellry not the Tonka toysbecause the Tonka toys will only punk my boyand I don`t want my son to look at lifethrough a replica of reality tryin` to make it life-likebut yet and still I let my son be a kidjust give him up the real, exactly like my momma didSo when he gets to be a man he`ll appreciatethe game I gave him way back when he used to roller skateand now my son is four years oldI really gots ta give the real and try to play the father`s rolebecause these years he`ll remember mostso it`s all about little Marcus and me becomin` closebut I got a buncha obstaclesif it ain`t my line of work it`s the girlies on my popsicleNow everybody`s got my babywantin` to have their hands in my pocket tryin to drive me crazy"It`s your daughter, don`t she look like you?"I just can`t tell, why don`t you take it to ma momma dobecause my mother knows the real dealall these hoochies poppin` coochie tryin` to get a free mealSo now we in and outta copetryin` to get mo money, braggin` om the child supportTellin` her friends that she`s breakin` menow eveybody knows, that she was just fakin` GCome to find out, the girl never had meshe`s the baby`s mother but me I ain`t the baby`s daddyand biological tests can proveyou gotta get up off of me and go after the other dudebut now I finally got a real daughterno need for the testin`I know that I`m the baby`s fatherI heard my daddy say them hoes will try ta kill yayou couldn`t have told me nothin` back thenbut now I feel ya...I feel ya...Now I`m twenty-two and finally got a grip on lifeIt`s nineteen ninety-three, I put away my pocket knifeand got a bigger stick to fight withI`m young and black so my choice ain`t a nightstickbecause we livin` in a concentration setand everyday, we face to face with deathI seen my homies go and comeand judgement day is just somethin we can`t run fromso I know my number`s comin` upso I gotta protect myself from suckers who be runnin` upand even though I hate killin` off my own kindI gotta be a man and as a man I`m a defend mineMy brother corners tryin to keep the neighbourhood at peacedon`t fight each other, we gots ta stand and fight the beastso united we stand but we gonna fall quickbecause we always tryin to take another brother`s shitand the cops is in the same votejust because we comin` up quick they think we slang dopeThey shootin` ta kill, they gas ain`t sparkin` goodsthey shot my long time partner Rudy in cold bloodand now the story`s all twisted upand if they gave the cop the chairI really wouldn`t give a fuckbecause she left my partner`s family with memoriesand after hearin` this I know you don`t remember mebut yet in still I find it hard for me to stay in touchI see his parents and then I started breakin` upbecause I know what you did was wrongbut you won`t realize until you dead and goneIt ain`t no justifiable homicide, you never gave a warningyou straight up shot him from behindbut all the cryin` in the world ain`t gonna bring him backyou give a gat to a black he don`t know how to actbut you gotta tell your story to the judgenot the imitation judge, the judge that everybody lovesand if the man upstairs grants you forgivenessthen in reality you took care of your businessbut regardless I know you wanna kill mebut I ain`t goin` out like datYa feel me?...yeah
