Текст песни The Blue Dogs - Bill Bill

The Blue Dogs - Bill Bill слова песни

Well I was the youngest of thirteen childrenWe lived in a little country townNever had much to eatThe first words I could speak were patch `em up and hand-me-downsWell my daddy hauled bills for the textile mills to pick up the little money we madeHad a three room shack with a john out backWe only had paper when daddy got paidWell somehow i grew up a really fat kidThough we never had that much to eatThose rich kids laughed and they beat on meAnd their dogs chased me up and down the streetThey bite my ankles and tear my pantsYeah they all had fun with meAnd as got fatter those dogs got madderThings were bout as bad as they could beWell I always wanted me a puppyDaddy said there wasn`t no wayThere wasn`t near enough food to feed our crewThere wasn`t none to give awayOne night a drunk in a poker gameHe won ole Bill Tedder`s hogI kinda liked that ole pole shiner so i raised him like a dogThose rich kids all had puppiesBut I never had no dogIt was always me and bill billThe old fat boy and his hogWell he`d follow me to school most every dayAnd he`d waller outside and waitYeah sometimes I`d take him fishing with meBut he ate up all my baitHe wasn`t much good at hunting eitherCause everything I shot he ateHe was so doggone slow that everywhere we goWe always got there lateBut all my troubles they ended one dayWhen ole Bill Bill got full grownThey waited for us one day after schoolAnd jumped us as we headed homeWhen the dust had settled and the fur stopped flyingOle Bill Bill sorta grinned at meCause screaming youngins and the howlin dogs, was all there was to seeWell I guess they learned a good lessonCause they never bothered us after that dayThose rich kids called us the two Ton terrorAnd stayed out of our wayAnd they all disappeared to fancy schoolsand the town got kinda dry of dogsIt`s only me and Bill BillThe ole fat boy and his hogThose rich kids all had puppiesBut I never had no dogIt was always me and bill billThe old fat boy and his hogThat was all many years agoAnd ole Bill Bill is a long time goneSee things are a whole lot different nowAbout the best I`ve ever knownYou see Bill Bill got a little lonesome and brought him a lady friend home one dayNow I`ve got 2872 hogs and several more on the wayGot a thirteen thousand dollar pick em up truckMaking money so doggone fastYeah married me a fine southern womanShe`s teaching me a little bit of classWell she just had a little baby boy about as round as he is tallAnd I think I`ll call him Bill BillIf he`s got any spunk at allThose rich kids all had puppiesBut I never had no dogIt was always me and bill billThe old fat boy and his hog
