Текст песни Travelling Wilburys - Cool Dry Place

Travelling Wilburys - Cool Dry Place слова песни

Well I woke up this morningThe place was such a reckI couldnt reach the bathroomThought Id better clear the deckI tried to call the lawyerAnd ask him what to doHe referred me to his doctorWho referred me back to youAnd when you checked the manualYou kept in side the caseIt said put it in a cool dry placeI drove around the cityLooking for a roomThat was high above the waterWhere my things could be in tuneThere was noone to help meNobody even caredI had to got through hellTo get those things up thereI paid my first subscriptionThen I joined the idle raceAnd they said "store it in a cool dry place"I got guitar, basses, amplifiers and drumsAccordions and mandolis and things that sometimes humCymbals and harmonicas, capos by the scoreAnd lots of things in boxes laying all around the floorSome places they get mildewAnd others get too hot. Some places are so damp thatEverything you got just rotsAll kinds of condensationDirectories of the rainTheres not much compensationWhen everythings been stainedSome have sentimental value thatCannot be erasedGo store it in a cool dry placeWe got solids and acousticsAnd some from flowered boardAnd some are trimmed in leatherAnd some are made with gourdsTheres organs and trombonesAnd reverbs we can useLots of dx-7sAnd old athletic shoesI bought a great big buildingIt took up one whole blockI made an inventoryOf all the things in stockThe place was getting longerI was up all nightI used up all my pencilsBut I went onto spiteThe blury of my visionThe sweat upon my faceIve got to put this stuff awayI mustnt leave a traceThe landlords breathing down my neckHe says its a disgraceSo I said "put it in a cool, dry, place"
