Martina:Once upon a time not long agoWhen people wore pajamas and lived life slowWhen laws were stern and justice stoodAnd people were behavin like theyre oughta goodThere lived a little boy who was misledBy another little boy and this is what he said:me and you tonight are gonna make some cashRobbin old folks and makin the dash. They did the job, money came with easeBut one couldnt stop, its like he had a diseaseHe robbed another and another a sister and a brotherTried to rob a man who was a duty undercoverThe cop grabbed his arm, he started acting erraticHe said keep still, boy, no need for staticPunched him in his belly and he gave him a slapBut little did he know the little boy was strappedThe kid pulled out the gun, he said whyd ya hit me? The barrel was set straight for the cops kidneyThe cop got scared, the kid, he starts to figureill do years if I pull this triggerSo he cold dashed and ran around the blockCop radios it to another lady copHe ran by a tree, there he saw the sisterA shot for the head, he shot back but he missed herLooked around due to expectationsSo he decided hed head for the subway stationsBut she was coming and he made a leftHe was runnin top speed till he was out of breathKnocked an old man down and swore he killed himThen he made his move to an abandoned buildingRan up the stairs up to the top floorOpened up the door there, guess who he saw? Dave the dope fiend shootin dopeWho dont know the meaning of water nor soapHe said i need bullets, hurry up, run!The dope fiend brought back a spanking shotgunHe went outside but there was cops all overThen he dipped into a car, a stolen novaRaced up the block doing 83Crashed into a tree near a universityEscaped alive though the car was batteredRat-a-tat-tatted and all the cops scatteredRan out of bullets and still he had staticGrabbed a pregnant lady, got out the automaticPointed at her head and he said the gun was full oleadHe told the cops back off or the honey heres deadDeep in his heart he knew he was wrongSo he let the lady go and he starts to run onSirens sounded, he seemed astoundedBefore long the little boy got surroundedHe dropped the gun, so went the gloryAnd this is the way I have to end this storyHe was only seventeen, in a madmans dreamThe cops shot the kid, I still hear him screamThis aint funny so dont ya dare laughJust another case bout the wrong pathStraight and narrow while your soul gets cash
