Текст песни Tricky - Slick 66

Tricky - Slick 66 слова песни

(by Slick Rick)Tricky :Once upon a time not long agoWhen people wore pajamas and lived life slowLived a little boy he was misledBy another little boy and this is what he said:"Me and you tonight are gonna make some cashRobbin` old folks and makin` the dash."They did the job, money came with easeBut one couldn`t stop, it`s like he had a diseaseHe robbed another and another a sister and a brotherTried to rob a man who was a duty undercoverThe cop grabbed his arm, he started acting erraticHe said "Look kid, no need for static"Punched him in his belly and he gave him a slapBut little did he know the little boy was strappedThe kid pulled out the gun, he said "Why`d ya hit me?"The gun was hang right for the cop`s kidneyThe cop got scared, the kid, he starts to figure"I`ll do years if I pull this trigger"So he cold dashed and ran around the blockRadios it to another lady copHe ran by a tree, there he saw the sisterA shot for the head, he shot back but he missed herAnd due to expectationsHe decided he`d head for the roadway stationsShe was coming and he made a leftHe was runnin` top speed till he was out of breathHe knocked an old man down and swore he killed himThen he made his move to an abandoned buildingHe ran up the stairs up to the top floorAnd guess who he saw?Dave the dope fiend shootin` dopeWho don`t know the meaning of water nor soapHe said "Hurry, hurry up and run!"The dope fiend brought back a spanking shotgunHe went outside but there was cops all overHe dipped into a car, a stolen NovaHe raced up the block doing 83Crashed into a tree near a universityEscaped alive though the car was batteredRat-a-tat-tatted and all the cops scatteredRan out of bullets but still he had staticGrabbed a pregnant lady, got out the automaticPointed at her head and he said "Cops back off or the honey here`s dead"Deep in his heart he knew he was wrongHe let the lady go and he starts to run onSirens sounded, he seemed astoundedBefore long the little boy was surroundedHe dropped the gun, so went the gloryAnd this is the way I have to end my storyHe was only seventeen, in a madman`s dreamThe cops shot the kid, I still hear him screamThis ain`t funny so don`t ya dare laughJust another storye `bout the wrong pathStraight and narrow while your soul gets cashGoodnight
