This is a story about Tommy and ElaineJust another case about the wrong pathIt`s gonna get yaTommy was a nobodyThroughout his childhood yearsScrubby clothes, parents ?, no friends amongst his peersJunior high arrived so depressed insideLate one evening he even tried to take his own lifeYo his mom found a knifeWith his wrists slicedLaying on the floor of his room, no lightsDoctors put him on some meds for his depressionBut mom prayed nightly asking` god to bless himNow a freshmen up in highscool no longer the foolPlace to forget the past and start newHe quickly made friends with this cat named JuanAnd Tommy skipping class, stealing cigs from his momA couple years pass now he`s a junior11th grade searching for quicker ways to get paidHe soon got connected with this cat down in ?Now he`s got his girl signing for packages in the mailWent from ripped jeans to mad creamTraded all his nightmares for the pleasant dreamsNo longer the kid with no friends trying to blendThat chapter in his life soon came to an endNow a rollie covers his scars sitting` on his wristRocking` the illest gear cellie sitting` on his hipFly whips, fly chicks, collecting mad chipsJealous cats waiting for his time to slipOne night Tommy`s driving home from this partyHigh off the weed yo drunk from bacardiBarely made it home his mom helped him in the houseWalked up in the living room passed out on the couchSuddenly these cats kicked in his doorRan up in the house threw his mom to the floorPut the pistol to her head this is what he said"Your money and your weed or the bitch is fucking dead!"Tommy tried to tell em "Yo its at another spot"Two seconds later all you heard was a shotThey pistol whipped Tommy snatched him for his jewelsRan out the house off in his ride they cruisedTommy struggled to make it to his mom`s sideShe lay in a pool of blood with no lifeHe finally thought he was a man and had it madeBut was it really worth the price that Tommy paid(Chorus)Take a look aroundGet the big picturePeople steady scheming on ways to get richerTrying to live a lifestyle that doesn`t even fit yaWatch out kid cause in the end its gonna get yaElaine was a high school girl she had it madeNever late to school with above average gradesHer own condo on the outskirts of BlaineCar, cell phone all in her parents nameBills paid for by mom and popsWho had a nice little tight relationship with the copsLiving above the law and on top of the worldMoms honor roll daughter and daddy`s little girlBut all of a sudden her life took a strange swingElaine wasn`t interested in the same thingsShe felt she was living too plainAnd that she didn`t fit in so she started running with a gangSelling cocaine she really didn`t need the extra moneyShe did it for the respect and the fameNow lets not forget this is the girl from BlaineAnd if her parents ever found out no doubt they`d go insaneSoon she slowly lost her gripElaine started skipping classes and her grades started to slipAnd one night she came home with a busted lipShe insisted it was nothing but both her parents flippedShe said she got hit by a basketball in gym classBut the truth was that her boyfriend had whooped her assThe next afternoon they got a letter in the mail from the schoolIt said that she was breaking some rulesThere was unexcused absences, good grades droppedAnd that there was a couple incidents with the copsThey couldn`t believe what they just heardThat schools got some nerveClaiming that there Elaine was in trouble that`s absurdSo right away they called their friends on the force to investigateBut by that time it was already to lateFor what they saw on the TV would stop their blood in their veinsLocal girl found dead overdose on cocaineHer parents never knew such painAnd from that moment on their lives would never be the sameHer mom took it the hardest like she was to blameAnd a month later she put a bullet in her brainIts a shame cause two lives were lost in this messElaine got more than she bargained for I guessYo there once was a girl named Elaine who had it allShe was high for a second but took a fatal fall(Scratching by DJ Abilities: "Figured out I went the wrong route..")(Chorus)Take a look aroundGet the big picturePeople steady scheming on ways to get richerTrying to live a lifestyle that doesn`t even fit yaWatch out kid cause in the end its gonna get ya
