Vengeance Rising - From The Dead слова песни

[L. Farkas / R. Martinez]The chief priests required the tomb to be securedThe Pharisees were with them, Pilate was assureThere would be no rising, as He had saidOn the third day, from the deadNow after the Sabbath, first day of the weekMary went down to the tomb, there was a great quakeAnd an angel descended to roll back the stoneTo serve almighty Jesus who sits now on the throneHis countenance like lightning, His clothing white as snowThe guards shook in fear of Him, as dead men they did knowHe had risen as it is to this day, all false religions this they will not sayOnce Lucifer, now Satan, shaking in his boots, was totally defeated right to the rootsThe Son of Man was delivered into the hands of sinful menTo be crucified, and on the third day rise againThis is the basis for the Christian creedThere was a resurrection, the truth on which we feedIf you choose to reject it you`ll face judgement in the endAnd He proved all He said by raising from the deadThis was no deception as some have saidJesus Christ the victor, raised from the deadThe total penalty of sin is our only claim to fameAnd repentance and remission of it is only by His nameHe is risen!
