X-Wild - Dragonslair слова песни

(The fighting and finally befriending of the mythical but very real dragonMoroth. Ending in the showing by Moroth to Braveheart the power of theShield of Darkness and the foretelling of his coming to rule Savageland)The wind and rain were alliesFought the sweat upon his browAnd hunger was an enemyThe fear it stalked the groundHe gazed up at the mountainTo the dragonslair he crawledAnd clutched his mighty hammerTo his breast that was so coldIn dragonslairAll alone in dragonslairIm so aloneAlone in dragonslairSo heavy was his breathingRemembering the mythHow mighty was the dragonAnd Moroth he was calledThe guardian of the shieldOf darkness was his roleAnd suddenly he saw the beastHow could he be so boldAwakened from his slumberMoroth spied him with one eyeUnfurled his wings with gaping mouthA million teeth shone brightDown and down he circledSo silent in his flightThe clash of steel on scaly skinResounded in the nightAs Moroth saw the pendantAround our heroes neckA memory great eons oldFlashed suddenly in his head"Reveal the Shield of Darkness"The old ones they had toldTo he who is the true oneAnd serve him in his quest
