54th Platoon, a Southern rap group that was one the first signees to Fubu Records, didn't score much commercial success in 2003 with their debut album, All or N.O.thin'. Regardless, the group — comprised of TL, Big Nut, Nu Black, and J.S. — dropped one of the year's better Dirty South albums, one which featured such prominent down-South figures as Lil' Jon, Eightball, and Jazzy Pha. Regardless, for all its success in the fashion industry, Fubu couldn't break 54th Platoon into the ultracompetative rap industry, and the group fell by the wayside.
