Clandestine Blaze - финский one-man проект Mikko Aspa, появившийся в 1998 году. Так уж повелось, что Clandestine Blaze чаще и обильнее всего сравнивают с Darkthrone и всё больше почём зря. Ведь норвежский дуэт ещё в начале нового тысячелетия начал мало-помалу съезжать к панку и красту, а в 2006 и вовсе сполз на самое дно этой ямищи. Материал от Clandestine Blaze был и остаётся классическим, образцовым блэк-металлом, без крючкотворства и докуки, которому побоку и конъюнктура, и инбридинг. Да и сам чёрт не брат. И не рад.
Грязный качающий риффаж, вязкий и хлюпающий, то извивается гадюкой, то парит ястребом, то несётся клацающим зубами волком. Волка, как известно, кормят ноги, однако столь дикий голод не утолить даже раблезианским обжорством, сколько ни носись. Посему педаль газа злодей Аспа придавливает лишь легонько, невзначай, и лишь время от времени спускает всё на тормозах.
Главное действующее лицо Clandestine Blaze - вочеловечившаяся злоба, широко разлитая среди зловещего спокойствия. Ненависть нецеленаправленная, слепая, разящая без разбору.

Clandestine Blaze is the one-man black metal project of the owner of Finnish label Northern Heritage, Mikko Aspa. The project was found 1998 in Lahti, Finland. Aspa also owns the power electronics label Freak Animal and is the editor of Erotic Perversion magazine and Public Obscenities videos. The music of Clandestine Blaze is inspired by such Norwegian groups as Darkthrone and Burzum. Clandestine Blaze has released 5 demos, 1 EP and 8 LPs, as well as a collaboration with the Finnish band Satanic Warmaster, and a split with Deathspell Omega before Mikko became their vocalist following the departure of Shaxul.
Aspa joined Deathspell Omega in 2003, and also has a few side projects such as Stabat Mater, Fleshpress, Creamface, Nicole 12, Grunt, Clinic of Torture, and Alchemy of the 20th Century; he also played in Morbid Savouring.
