Canadian singer/songwriter Joel Willoughby absorbed plenty of culture in his youth, growing up overseas with globe-traveling parents. With such varied life experiences, that well-traveled, world-weary soul can't help but show up in his songs. Willoughby has been writing & performing in various bands for over 10 years. He spent many years drumming in Vancouver's 'critically acclaimed' Maplewood Lane & Dawntreader before going solo. He's released 4 albums: all produced by Jonathan Anderson (Aidan Knight, Stabilo, Kensington Prairie). His last album (Rain & Pocket Change) had songs featured on the Hollister in-store playlist & on College radio across North America. A new album called 'Canadian Winters' will be available on Nov. 29th, 2011. For fans of Sufjan Stevens, Denison Witmer, & Josh Rouse. Read more on Last.fm.
