2003 - Whilst the five winning contestants of Popstars formed Hear'Say, the five runners up (who would have been the "backup" had there been a problem with any members in Hear'Say) formed the group Liberty. The name Liberty was chosen to reflect the freedom they enjoyed from not being under the rigid enforcements of the television company and record label that was put upon Hear'Say. Their runner-up status led to them being cruelly dubbed "Flopstars" by some. Rather bizarrely they probably had equal if not better chart success than Hearsay. After a very successful first album, Liberty X returned with the song "Being Nobody", produced and remixed by Richard X. To this day, it is a favorite "floor-stomping" song among fans. It is composed of two songs mixed together; Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody" (written by David "Hawk" Wolinski) with Human League's "Being Boiled". The song also appears on Richard X's CD, "Richard X Presents His X-Factor Vol. 1".
