NE1 [Enniwan]

NE1 is a new band, raised by 2 musicians with totally different musical backgrounds.
Marco van der Aar, notorious for touring the music-scene together with Jos Zoomer in their previous band, Soylent Green, teamed up and joined forces with Koen Spronk.

In posession of a record-deal with Bionic Recordings, Koen recently finished his study "Audio Design". His more electronic approach to music, and Marco's more rock-oriented flavours turned out to be a perfect mix! This is why NE1 sounds like nothing else... New, distinctive, fat!

The NE1-sound, a mixture of musicstyles old and new, can be found on "Light of Life". This album was produced by Koen and Marco, in co-operation with Dick Kemper, at the famous S&K studios. Famous for names such as Intwine, Beth Hart, Barry Hay, Vandenberg and many others, who all spent many hours recording countless hit-records!

The debut-album, "Light of Life", will hit the shops around June 2006. This release will be supported by a promotional tour throughout the whole country. Around that time, a single will be released, and NE1 will take a shot at the playlists of the bigger radio- and tv-stations.

Frank "Gold" Terriet - Guitar
Natascha "Pebbles" Thijssen - Bass
Jos Zoomer (ex-Vandenberg, ex-Soylent Green) - Drums
