Opposing Perfection formed circa 2001, initially as Blink 182 inspired (wana-be) band. The band through many member changes until it found a semi permanent line up of Dimitri Nessas (guitar and vocals), Alex Champlin(bass), Stephen Greenberg(guitar and lead vocals), and Jesse Maynard (drums. This line up lasted for a few years, during which many wonderous recordings were released, including hit singles such as "Exit" and critically acclaimed "Black Widows". Around 2004 the band got new bassist, Marhsall, who played with the band for almost a year, leaving for finical stability as well as academic integrity. In 2005, with the burden of College looming over their carrer, Opposing Perfection decided to drastically change their approach. Dimitri became the lead vocalist, and they recorded their final EP in high school with the line up of Dimitri on vocals, Stephen on Guitar and Vocals, and Jesse on Drums. This is how the played, as bassless trio, until spring of 2007 when, at Rutgers, they found their long lost 4 member, Chris Clements.
