The B*Movie Heroes were a British rock band which disbanded in 2006, after having joined various record labels, releasing 5 EPs and two albums in the process.
A self-titled EP was followed by their joining the Changes One record label, releasing 'Just Say Anything' and 'Rock Music', two succinct bursts of melodic, stripped-down rock that won them a loyal fanbase. A relentless touring schedule and increasing exposure saw them sign to Spank Records, releasing the fan-favourite album 'Anthems for the Underdog'.
An EP, 'Still No Surrender' followed, financed primarily by fans pre-ordering- it heralded a change in direction for the band, combining their melodic roots with a grittier, punk-influenced sound. Despite moving to Undergroove records, and releasing the album 'Calibrate', containing the MTV-worthy 'My Apology', the band failed to find the level of audience their music merited, disbanding soon after.
