DeNovo is a Norwegian band formed in 2003 by a group of students in the student city of Bergen, Norway.
'DeNovo' is latin for "from it's fundamental parts", and it seems like that's just what they have set out to do. You get many different associations by listening to their music, like Stone Roses, Dandy Warholes, Bowie, Beatles, depending on what your background is. But somehow, they have transformed the songs into very personal pieces of music, like they have taken their favourite music to pieces, their fundamental pieces, and put them back in their very own way.
