NEUROTIC OUTSIDERS – проект британцев Стива Джонса (Sex Pistols) , Джона Тэйлора (Duran Duran) и американцев Мэтта Сорума и Даффа Маккэгэна (оба - Guns 'N' Roses), изначально созданный для одного единственного благотворительного концерта в легендарном голливудском клубе Viper Room в сентябре 1995 года. Совместная работа настолько пришлась по душе каждому их участников, что в течение нескольких месяцев они выступали в заведении каждый понедельник, исполняя кавер-версии песен Игги Попа, the Damned, Roxy Music и Sex Pistols. Дошло до того, что Maverick Records предложила музыкантам контракт на запись пластинки, которая и вышла в сентябре 1996 года под названием «Neurotic Outsiders». Кроме того, в Японии был выпущен EP «Angelina», а в Британии и Германии - сингл «Jerk». Существует так же бутлег одного из концертов в Viper Room «Viperactive». В 1996 году NEUROTIC OUTSIDERS предприняли клубное турне по США, объединившись для нескольких концертов в 1998 и 1999 гг.

Neurotic Outsiders were a hard rock supergroup formed in 1995 by Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols on guitar/vocals, John Taylor of Duran Duran on bass/vocals, Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses on guitar/vocals, and McKagan's GNR bandmate Matt Sorum (also formerly of The Cult) on drums.
"The Neurotic Boy Outsiders", as they were initially known, began life as a group of friends jamming at the famous Viper Room simply for the fun of it, before recording "Neurotic Outsiders" for Madonna's Maverick label in 1996. They briefly toured across Europe and North America, before disbanding later in the year. They've reunited for a few shows in 1999 at the Viper Room, but no plans of continuing the band have been made. All members, aside from Taylor, have made appearances with Camp Freddy in recent years.
