A number of bands have gone by the name of Buck. One of the best known was a pop punk band that was active from 1997-2000. They released an album, Buck, in 1998; an EP, Buck in Black , in 1999; and a number of singles. More info about this Buck is available at lisamarr.org and MySpace.
Another band named Buck (Be Under Century Knife) is an indierock/lo-fi outfit from a small town called Alingsås in Sweden, but are now based in Herrljunga, Sweden. This Buck is heavily influenced by acts such as Archers of Loaf, Built to Spill and so on. They released two albums, Your Guide To Better Lies and Hello Holland, and two EP's, Rock Dream and Animate Your Thoughts To Keep In Mind between 2000 and 2004. Buck has been in a state of hiatus for about five years, but are going to release new material in 2010. More info about this new release: http://www.berec.se/.
