Почему-то именно о германких группах середины 90-х нет почти ничего. Совершенно ничего.
Azure были из небольшого городка Германии под названием Магдебург, за все недолгое время существования успели выпустить две семерки.
В 1995 году на Honesty Records выходит первая их семерка под названием Misunderstood.
Одноименная заглавная песня альбома настраивает на мелодичный и мягкий эмо\хардкор, но последующие четыре песни потрясают мощным "тем самым немецким" хардкором в духе Don Quichote (которые, кстати, тоже были с Магдебуга, что-то мне подсказывает, что ребята знали друг друга), Age, Sog ну и так далее, иногда все же разбавляя песни мягкостью, как например в песне War Memorial. Лирика была как на немецком, так и на английском.
Вторым же релизом в 96 году стал сплит с Cerulean, Cerulean были инди рок\эмо группой, что-то вроде Mineral, The Gloria Record, Christie Front Drive, Evergreen.
Пластинка вышла на Crooners Club Records и содержала в себе три песенки, две от Azure и одна от Cerulean. Azure на этом сплите быле чуть похаотичнее дебютного релиза, Cerulean же удачно с ними контрастировала, красивый инди-рок.

Sweden's technical extreme metal band Azure was formed in 1995 by guitarist/vocalist Robban Kanto.
In the beginning the music was heavily influenced by the melodic black/death metal scene but later went on to a more technical approach when Mattias Holmgren (Embracing, Tired Tree, ex. Naglfar) and Peter Uvén (Embracing, April Divine etc) replaced the old rythm section.
The lyrics theme takes place in a fantasy world created by Robban called Hevalia, but in different time periods. The latest album "King Of Stars - Bearer Of Dark" is though a continuation of where the Moonlight Legend album ended.
New songs will be recorded in 2009...
