Tony Deerfield is the legendary founder of seminal Chicago area rock bands Chowder Horse, Earthman Mental Intermission, the Bumbling Idiots, and Small Portion. While in high school, his mother received a 'vision from the Lord' that Tony should drop out of school and move to Los Angeles to start a new rock band.
In 1994 he was nearly killed in the Northridge earthquake. This led him to relocate temporarily to Orange County, California where he recruited Tyrone Wells, Joey Aszterbaum and Keith Gove.
The band has been together since that fateful first practice on March 3, 1994...although after their last independent release in 2003 they have been hiding in an undisclosed location preparing some new and dangerous rock and roll concoction, awaiting the opportune time to unleash it on an unsuspecting public.
In the meantime, they have assumed identities to fit in with the mainstream of American Culture:
- Tyrone Wells is a solo artist performing somewhere near you.
- Joey Aszterbaum is a theology student and candidate for the ministry.
- Keith Gove is a chaplain in the United States Army.
- Tony Deerfield's whereabouts are unknown. Rumors persist that he is teaching French at a Southern California High School under an assumed name. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
