1. Sunny Side Up is a Ska-Punk band from Oklahoma City, OK. Formed in 2010, Sunny Side Up combines bright brass hits, powerful guitar lines, roaring vocals, and quirky lyrics with fun, fast music. In an attempt to rid the ska genre of washed out cliches, SSU takes influence from innovative artists such as The Flaming Lips, Weezer, and more. Adding elements of metal, pop, rap, and more establishes SSU as an innovator of the genre. They've played alongside acts such as The Toasters, Anamanaguchi, Peelander-Z, Sublime With Rome, Bowling For Soup, Flatfoot 56, and more.
Their debut EP was released June 30th, 2011. It debuted at #1 on Bandcamp's Oklahoma chart.
