2) an English folk-rock "super-group" formed in 1984 and led by ex-Fairport fiddle player Dave Swarbrick
1) Whippersnapper was an American five-piece melodic punk band, formed in 1992 hailing from Atlanta GA. Their music was fast paced punk with a melodic touch, much in the vein of Lagwagon, Strung Out, etc. Whippersnapper released 3 albums in their career, the first released in 1998 and the last in 2002. Sometime shortly after their last album Whippersnapper unfortunately broke up, though few realized or heard about it. Whippersnapper has no official website and is listed as 'inactive' in the bands section of "Fueled by Ramen", their final record label.
